Roman Blinds - How to fit
Baton will be fixed to ceiling of window for recess fitted blinds.
The Clevise allows excess cord to be tied when blind is in up position. The clevise can be fixed to the left or right hand side.
Hold baton in place and push a pencil or other tool through holes to mark drilling spot. Drill hole. Push fixing (not supplied)in to hole Fix baton to window recess with screw. (not supplied)
Peel off self adhesive on velcro (supplied) and stick onto baton.
The velcro on your Roman Blind will stick to this to allow it to hang.
Fix Clevise to wall approximately half way from sill to top of recess. This will be either in the recess to outside the window depending on your requirements. Screws are provided with clevise.
NB right handed people usually fit this to the right hand side of window.
These instructions are the same, except for the baton; this should be fixed approximately 5cm above the recess of the window. Ensure that when blind is extended it covers the entire window; to below the sill.
It is recommended that all Roman Blinds are professionally cleaned.
