Measuring for Vertical Blinds

Vertical blinds are nearly always fitted in the recess (the inside of the window area), therefore these instructions are how to measure for vertical blinds that fit in the recess. We recommend you use a metal tape measure; it will not stretch.
Your window sill must be a minimum of 8cm (3") deep for all the fittings to be fixed on.

    Width
  1. Measure the width of the window in 3 places; top, middle and bottom
  2. The smallest of these 3 measurements should be used for the 'Width'
    Drop
  1. Measure the height of the window in 3 places; left, middle and right
  2. The smallest of the 3 measurements should be used for the 'Drop'
